Our Story
In 1969 my father started trading as ‘Roy Hallett Painter and Decorator’ and throughout the years built his business on recommendation, high quality workmanship and a professional service.
In 1988 at the tender age of 16 years young I joined him as his apprentice – serving what felt the longest apprenticeship ever known!!
Over the years our experience and expertise have ensured that we have become established and trusted names throughout Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the surrounding area with a reputation for a courteous and professional service.
When Dad decided to retire in 2014 I started trading as ‘Paul Hallett Decor’ because I believe in trading with your own name. However the values that Dad and I worked to over the years remain the same "honesty, quality and reliability" always going that extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

At Paul Hallett Specialist Decorator, we offer a wide variety of decor services to suit every home. From modern to traditional, we can accommodate everyone's personal taste.
After 36 years of experience, I pride myself in being a Specialist Decorator, working with top grade materials specialising in hand painted kitchens, bedrooms and luxury wall coverings, being one of the very few that hang Lincrusta wallpaper and panelling.
Our Mission
Many customers trust me and choose to go away on holiday whilst I re-decorate their homes. I remove all possessions and small items of furniture from the designated room, re-decorate it, replace everything to its original position and then give the whole room a clean and polish. Customers return from holiday refreshed and to a newly re-decorated room.
